Cecil Bischke Obituary

Cecil Bischke passed away on March 20th, 2024, at the age of 75 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Mike (Jennifer) Bischke; daughter, Christine (Frank) Stewart; partner, Anh Thai; grandchildren, Alexander, Kynan, and Austin; great grandchildren, Mya, Grace and Harmony; brother, Donald (Delores) Bischke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cecil was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Emma Bischke; and brother, Eugene Bischke.

Cecil was born and raised in Medicine Hat where he worked for Municipal Works department at the City of Medicine Hat until retirement. Fishing, camping and slow pitch were activities enjoyed with family/friends. He amateur boxed in his younger years. He loved his brand new 1996 Chevrolet Silverado. Cecil loved country music. Almost every Sunday began with one of his fabulous home cooked meals that would then proceed on with rum drinks, dancing and singing. In between, we reminisced and shared great stories old and new that will never be forgotten. We shared momentous times with our father, they will linger in our hearts always. We love you very much – you are at ultimate peace now, Dad.

No formal service will be held. Donations in Cecil’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
