Calvin was born in Empress, AB and raised on the family farm in Acadia Valley, AB. His friends all called him “Tiny.” He was well known for his size and big energy. He enjoyed fishing and coffee with his brother, his Buick Lesabre (although he loved many hot rods) and karaoke. He was popular around Halloween, scaring many kids with his chainless saw and winning many costume contests. He was a gifted salesman and engaging storyteller. Remembered for his “Witching Woods” tale. He had a great imagination. He was an inventor and songwriter. His family remembers his theme song “Calgary” and his rock tune “Ticket to Hell.” He loved his canine best buddy Snoopy and wearing high top shoes but above all else, he loved the Lord.
A private gathering to spread his ashes will be arranged at a later date. Donations in Tiny’s memory can be made by e-transfer to The Barn Ministry thebarnministriesmh@gmail.com
