Ann McGrogan passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, at the age of 91. Ann was born and raised in Mallorytown, Ontario, before moving to the Kingston area, where she met her late husband, Tom. They raised their three sons, Steve (High River), Andy (Medicine Hat), and Paul (Inverhuron), in Bath. Ann loved her many hobbies, especially gardening, where she was happiest creating beautiful spaces with ponds, planting flowers, and growing vegetables. In her retirement from the penitentiary service, she was proud to have become the first female to become a procurement officer in the region, breaking some glass ceilings in her day. She moved to Alberta to be closer to two of her boys. She is survived by her brother, Morris Beaubien (Sudbury), and sister, Donna Greenlees (Kingston).
