Allan Statham passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB on June 25, 2026, at the age of 48 years.
Al is survived by his beloved wife, Trish; his children, Austyn, Katelyn, and Tristen Statham; Trish’s children, Brian Loelke and Maliki Emery; parents, Ross and Bev Statham; brothers, Brian (Amy – Daniel & Ben); Curtis (Danya - Axle and Raelee); sister, DeAnne; nieces, Julia and Allie Statham; nephew, Rylan Statham; mother-in-law, Betty (Dave) Starkes; and brother-in-law, Chad Emery.
Allan was proud of his accomplishment of being top of his class for Automotive Technician (mechanic) for all four years; following in his dad’s footsteps.
Al loved working at Ross’s Auto Repair. He was happy working on vehicles or talking to customers. Al could talk to anyone about anything and everything. From a young age, Allan loved motorbikes and it continued into his married life with Trish and the kids. Al loved going on road trips all over BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Yukon. Al’s passion was dirt bike riding with his son, Tristen. Whether it was Monday Mottos, Taber Tuesday, ACM Races, or just out enjoying the day. Trish and Al’s family tagged along to help, enjoy the race, and get that “special picture” or “video”. Al was always willing to lend a helping hand or guide the young riders (like Rylan, who was in awe of Uncle Allan).
Al was known for his fiery red hair and beard, the yellow cube van, and his love of the sport.
We will miss him. We love you lots.
A private Celebration of Al’s Life will be held.
